This talk will expose the possibilities offered by knowing the mental space of one's own body,
the space around oneself and the limit of the relationship with others, to find new paths and
imaginations that allow to transcend some of the difficulties that everyday life presents.
I will show in this conference simple methods to recognize and perceive different types of
mental space based on body forms and body exercises i taught during the last 20 years at
University of Buenos Aires. These methods are tools to achieve awareness of space of one's
own body (relationship to oneself or "inner perception") and the space around one's own
(relation to one's environment or "complete perception"). The presentation also addresses the
elements of "partial perception" that lie within the entire mental space in addition with the
practices to recognize the space of the partner, which allow to find the limit of the relationship
with others.
In conclusion, this work shows the importance of human being to become aware about the
possibility of widening their mental space. Learning the elements that compose this space with
the consequent improvement of their bodily balance and change of their posture before the
world.
Finally this work intends, in the future, complement the work of science about mental space,
from a bodily and perceptive vision.
