How can we use mental space to resolve complex conflict situations? What differences are there in the individual phases of the mediation process? How does the approach to mental space differ in mediations in the contexts of family, business, and administration? What influence do the different stages of escalation have?
We will explore these questions in a short presentation and subsequent discussion.
The mental space is the working and experiencing space of all participants in a mediation process. This includes mediands and mediators. As mediators we accompany and clarify the escalated situations of the conflicting parties. We primarily shape the process and help the mediands to find their own solutions to their problems.
The use of the psychology of mental space and the social panorama can be the essential moment to achieve a breakthrough in particularly delicate situations.
